GLT 2022 Schedule

The 2022 GLT Schedule is taking shape and we are pleased to announce the following confirmed events for our upcoming season.  There's still a few dates we're waiting on to be confirmed and they are listed below under ''Save the Dates''...

GLT 2022 Membership Rates & Details

The 2022 Season is expected to have some exciting new programs that are currently being finalized, however below you will find our 2022 membership rates and benefits for those that choose to become a GLT Member this season.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 
NEW For 2022 all GLT Members will be able to earn valuable GLT Order of Merit Points in select events with our partner tours in British Columbia and Quebec.  These points will accumulate towards determing those players on the current Order of Merit to gain exemptions to $125,000 Sani-Marc/Fenergic Canada Cup August 11-14, 2022 and the GLT TOUR Championship October 5-6, 2022.

GLT 2022 Order of Merit Points & Events Breakdown

The GLT is pleased to partner and work with both the Vancouver Golf Tour in British Columbia and the East Coast Pro Tour based in Montreal, Quebec.  This partnership was created in the spirit of growing the game of golf in our country and having developmental tours with Canadian sponsors giving back to professional grass roots golf on home soil.  This alliance will allow for more opportunities to compete and develop across the country with the long term vision of having more Canadian flags and Champions on the PGA TOUR, Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR Champions. 

This is an exciting step in recognizing Developmental Golf Tours, Canadian players and strengthening the importance of Canadian dollars staying in the hands of Canadian professionals or International professionals that annually cross the borders to support our tours.

$125,000 Sani-Marc/Fenergic Canada Cup

In the Fall of 2021 both the Canada Cup Organizing Committee and Great Lakes Tour mutually agreed to have Golf Quebec become the new managing group for the prestigious event.  The GLT managed both the 2019 and 2021 editions of the Canada Cup and were very instrumental in preserving such an important Championship for Canadian professionals.  Now under the eye of Golf Quebec, the stage has been set to further advance this championship while continuing to have members of the Great Lakes Tour, East Coast Pro Tour, Vancouver Golf Tour and the PGA of Canada remaining as the primary sources to create the strongest field in Canadian Golf not otherwise a PGA TOUR event.

The GLT will continue to have a large number of exemptions available to Ontario and International members.  At the wrinting of this message the final number was still being confirmed and the GLT is designing a new formula that will be a combination of gaining exemptions via GLT Events and the Order of Merit.  Look for the formal details regarding the exemptions in March.

In 2021, GolfZoogle beta tested and live streamed three major events in Canada. These included the Southern Ontario Open, Machinex Open and the Canada Cup.  Due to the technical nature of this service, the live stream was only available via a paid subscription.

This season we are pleased to announce that GolfZoogle will be on site at multiple GLT events live streaming and producing the tournaments FREE via YouTube Live.  This will dramatically increase the exposure of our players, the events, the host facilities and the communities we visit.  The available streams will have scheduled live commentary, player interviews, in studio guests and a pre-tournament show live from each event.
