Burlington (ON) - The 2017 season has been a slight struggle for Robbie Greenwell who is originally from Georgetown (ON) but now resides in Victoria (BC). Though he’s been playing some good golf, he has failed to take advantage of Conditional Status and the Monday Qualifying process on the Mackenzie Tour - PGA TOUR Canada this season. However, a return to the tournament where he fired a final round 62 last year, may bring back some good feelings and produce a strong finish. After Round 1 of this year’s Southern Ontario Open at Hidden Lake Golf Club (NEW Course) in Burlington (ON), Greenwell’s score of 8 under par 63 was good enough for a two shot lead over Branson Ferrier of Barrie (ON) and 3 better than a handful of players at 5 under par 66 including Mt. Laurel (NJ) resident David Sanders.
