Seaforth ON - The Seaforth Country Classic (SCC) and the Great Lakes Tour (GLT) have agreed on a partnership to bring back the extremely popular tournament in 2018.  The SCC will feature a new invitational format with 36 male participants and 36 female participants playing in  separate tournaments.

The SCC is scheduled for August 2-4. 2018 and will feature a Championship Pro Am on August 2nd  followed by a 36 hole (no cut) stroke play competition for both fields August 3rd and 4th. 34 of 36 male participants will be comprised of GLT members gaining exemptions through the National Order of Merit standings and various events on the GLT schedule deemed as qualifier events.  Seaforth Golf Club and the SCC organizing committee will have two exemptions available for  local talent.

Hamilton ON - The Great Lakes Tour (GLT) is pleased to announce a partnership with Triple Bogey Brewing & Golf Co.  The partnership will see Triple Bogey become the "Official Beer" of the GLT and during the 2018 season members will compete in the season long Triple Bogey Challenge.

The Triple Bogey Challenge will feature a unique format and will be contested during each event on the 2018 schedule.  The Challenge will happen on the 18th hole of every official GLT event conducted . The Champion will be decided by the player whom accumulates the lowest score to par over a minimum amount of rounds played during the current season.  The winner will receive a grand prize package from Triple Bogey Brewing & Golf Co...

Hamilton ON - The Great Lakes Tour (GLT) is pleased to announce a partnership with Golf to Conquer Cancer presented by Harry Rosen (G2CC).

G2CC will be staging the fifth playing of the tournament on Monday June 11, 2018 and in four prior years has raised over $4.7 million dollars for Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.  The partnership will see up to six GLT members participate in the event.

The event is contested on two exclusive golf courses in the Greater Toronto Area, Granite Golf Club and Coppinwood Golf Club.  Since 2015, golf professionals have been invited to participate making the event more special as a pro-am type format.  The professional presence assists in adding value to the amateur foursomes and allows for further networking opportunities while raising funds for such a worthy cause.
