The Great Lakes Tour is pleased to announce that PuttingZone Canada will assume the presenting sponsor role of the 2009 GLT Match Play Championship.
"Bruce Howard, a former GLT Member heads up the PuttingZone Canada outfit and has been a loyal supporter of the Tour since 2005. PuttingZone Canada has grown in leaps and bounds the past two years in Canada and we are excited by this commitment to the Tour and our Members," said GLT President, Dennis Hendershott.
To celebrate our partnership PuttingZone Canada will be hosting introductory sessions at some of the Tour stops this summer. Watch for details and sign up opportunities - the Tour will post dates and times on the Site and in our e-Newsletter.
The 2009 Match Play is open to all GLT Professionals and Amateur Members. Player will be seeded and adhere to a deadline schedule to play assigned matches. The semi finals and 36 hole finals will be played at the end of the season at the Brantford Golf and C.C. the weekend prior to the GLT Tour Championship in October. The Match Play Champion will take home the first place prize of $6,000.00 based on a full field.
